Basic Beauty

 Every now and then one just needs to say, “Hey WTF” slow down a little bit, smell some clean fresh air, delve into a drop or two of your tastiest beverage, whiff the bouquet of freshly cut flowers, AND really appreciate God’s creation. Any questions? 

I realize that I can’t–nor will I attempt to speak for anyone on this matter, but I think God out did himself when he made Eve.

In fact, I believe that God made Eve and blessed her with a unique ability to be a precise replica of every person’s vision of what she looked like. I know it’s a bit out there, but…..

What I mean is that every decade, generation, and century has their own version of what Eve looked like. Okay…no problem. However, have you ever run into a lady and just in the back of your mind, you mutter something like, “I’ll be that’s what Eve must have looked like…” C’mon gang! I know that I’ve had my versions of Adam; then I have had some, “Oh sheeeit!! After you God broke the mold type Adam’s.

Did you see the film Juno? The film about the decision-making of  a sixteen year old lady whether to keep her baby, or go the ‘let’s get rid of it’ route?

Juno, the lead character in the film was played by Ellen Page who is one of my all time faves…damn she’s a great actress! Anyway, she comes home one evening–late–and just before entering her house she picks this flower and muses….”did you ever notice how much different things smell and taste when you’ve been away for awhile?” She’s thinking this as she picks a flower and rubs it around her belly that is now a full nine months pregnant!

Great film…kind of a chick flick, but there’ s a lot to be learned for any males who watch it. Actually the darling Ms. Page received a nomination for the big one, OSCAR, Academy Award for Best Actress. If you care for really critically good acting performances, Ellen Page is a must see! However, I hasten to add that as anyones first Ellen Page experience, I’d suggest Hard Candy...brilliant performance!  

At any rate we’re . going to be starting some different things here at the site. I hope you’ve noticed the HUGE change in our masthead or header to the exploding fireworks, I thought it added some color and brilliance to the page as a whole.

 I am willing to take all suggestions for a proper name for this blog. In the beginning when it was first started I was told that “Simplistic States” was used for the very first name. Shortly thereafter the name was changed to “Simpleminds” with the exact same nuance—something that was easy on the brain, easy on the eyes, and in all manner of things just simple.

 

 

 

 

 

Relax and enjoy…

This is one of those times where we’re dropping anything remotely thematic.

Please don’t get me wrong here…most of the time working within the parameters of a theme albeit, nations or designers, or models and sensuality is really much easier because of those very guidelines.

However just as variety is indeed the spice of life, so is featuring a plethora of God’s creation and with it…some  attitude!

So please slide onto a chair, curl-up, or just kick back and enjoy his loving handiwork. One of the reasons we’ve decided to go without a theme this week is that we’ve collected more succulent and salious photography than we would ever be able to handle otherwise.

Not to be misunderstood, every shot we use here at Simpleminds comes from either the models own portfolio, or from a representative who is the title holder of the photograph. This example would be very characteristic of an advertising firm or manufacturer’s of the actual textiles used in the ad.

Of course it’s time for some introductions: At top left is Eugenia who is from Belarus; immediately right is perhaps the most oft seen model on this site including two of her own features and some other fabulous, Divinely inspired work is Kim C. from Canada.

Sometimes we like to feature just a single model and I think next time we do….it’s going to be ‘Pampita Ardohain’ from Argentina.  In all seriousness, we get a lot of requests for her.       

Over there on the right is not only a Supermodel, but also a Wonder Woman. We’ve shared the horrific stories of Petra N. on several different occasions, but gosh! Isn’t she just a sight for one’s eyes?

What’s that in your eye…

Ah yes and the Czech’s continue for this week. From then on we’ll make the decision albeit we are featuring models from a specific country or if there is another theme, or, if we decide to make a mixture which always seems to word out one way or another!

Most importantly, there are far too many stunningly gorgeous models from Czechoslovakia to just up and quit. Therefore, we’ll feature some of the models that are HUGE in this industry and then we’ll start the other program mentioned above in a jiff!

Now then is there a bigger and more recognized name in modeling than that of Petra Nemcova? Didn’t you just gain an entirely new perspective on women from Ms. Nemcova’s harrowing experience?

Think of the force of water pinning you to a tree for more than 8 hours! Did I mention that on your way to getting to that tree you managed to crush your back in different places whilst at the same time mangle your pelvis on the way to clutching to a palm tree? 

Just so long as I would need to write I want to make sure that I have a place to write. therefore, I think we should see just how far this column goes down the page.

I really need to get this last single Czechoslovikian post out.

 It’s simply amazing how many ladies we’ve been able to share with you. Just over to the right is Olga Serova an already entrenched model that’s shaking up the world.

And there are so many more…if we were to run Czech models in the same fashion as we did the Brazilians I fear we’d be here for months to come.

Therefore, we will try for the next several weeks to include a Czech featured model with each other theme or what we have going on. Promise.

 

Czech your eyes again..twice!

Each week that our collective minds put together a scheme of arrangement or in the art world let’s say, a theme as supported by our design, layout, and onward to publication.

And every week we always end up with more than what we started with. It goes something like this: We would like to feature five to eight ladies on this site per publication. So in preparation we begin by going to various agencies, magazines, and of course our favorite sites in the fashion business.

All would be for not if it wasn’t for sites like The Fashion Model Directory; modelsblog, As Never Seen on TV; the fashion spot; bwgreyscale, and then the corporate giants such as Style.com and any one of the supporting sites whose product we may be featuring or the particular agency we are working with to get the latest in model activity.

So when we start it’s like let’s do this country___________, and let’s feature 5 to 8 models from the country and at times we may want to show Fall and Winter fashions, then follow that with Spring and Summer designs with an attempt to keep up with fashion.

One issue everyone should know about by now is that fashion works at hyper-speed, meaning the shows that are being presented now during “Fashion Week” the world over are those that will become available next Autumn and Winter!

So if you can imagine it being Spring to Summer these models are actually working in the Summer but wearing winter clothing. Same goes the opposite way…you really must know that when the models are doing fabulous beach shots it’s not unlikely that what you’re seeing is done in a closed studio and it may be snowing outside!

Then again there are those times when everything is current; so when we see these magnificent ladies all tanned, buffed, with hardly anything on coupled with the exotic location that really is happening as well. Those are the models’ dreams if one can tolerate sand fleas, other airborne beasts given to jungle flight and this is out of the water!

Helena, (blond up left, and lacy chiffon right) is a classic example of this. She has been in the upper 25 Top Models for at least 10 years, yet nothing has ever stopped her from doing everything she enjoys in life–like having children!

There is another evaluation that needs to made about Czechoslovakian models. I don’t know if it’s genetic, something in the water, or just good ol’ country living for most. Like I said, I don’t know what it is…

Czech models seem to have a staying power that is just about unequaled in fashion and the modeling business. Even after they’ve had their ‘little one’s’ (children) these women come back in record time normally doing a few photo shoots with their new children as “super-baby models.”

Another Czech who is in the Top 10 international models, is Eva H., who started young, got major prominence very early (15-16 yrs old) shot to the top (18-20 yrs old) and has managed a full-time career two children and hubby! Furthermore Eva was one of the original Guess? models.

Okay then we’ve decided to feature some other awesome Czech models who have made their individual marks on all of us here, and especially me, your host, paula castle. Here goes….

 

 

Czech your eyes!

Seems like forever ago we who visit, relax, chill, and stare at the glorious wonders of what God created, those of course, being the ladies of the world. All too often we’ll look at a model, or some trendy uptown chic lady, or just in their birthday suits, women who are so awe aspiring that at times, it takes my breath away.

Anyone who visits Simpleminds to any degree of regularity knows that about a year ago we started on a series featuring ladies from around the world. This premise was spawned by yours truly, moi, based on an article I’d read where these two guys were at an airport in London and they were just spell-bound by the beauty of the ladies he saw. In what must have been a real gasping for air moment, huffing and puffing this one guy says to the other, “Where did all of these gorgeous ladies come from?”

Anyway the article I read went on to describe the ladies and for some reason or another, the gasper thought someone—almost like a conspiracy—had intentionally held these ladies somewhere and only let them leak out every so often. “Where did the ALL come from..?”

This of course inspired me to begin the series that featured ladies from various countries including: Bulgaria, Britain, Brazil, Argentina, Argentina II, Canada, Israel, Romania, Australia (x2), with interim dashes of “Specials” that included any one of several schemes like all black and white, strictly beach themes, ladies of the runway, and on and on.

 

So where we ended up regarding the counties was in Brazil in which we did no less that 7 or 8 expose featuring some of the most beautiful felines on the planet earth. I did however make a comment that most nations would take perhaps two or three good postings to at least cover the

Basics or what we call the Bigs!   Moreover, we did write that between Brazil and Czechoslovakia one could literally spend an entire year on either of those two nations who have given us so many ladies.

Therefore, for the next few postings we are going to do our level best featuring ladies from Czechoslovakia!! We think you’ll be surprised insofar as just how many of these ‘goddesses’ are household names. Czechoslovakia has produced top rated models for what seems like ever; that nation has also produced some of the greatest female athletes as well as actresses.

So kick it! Just enjoy the pics of God’s work! Again, as always, our extreme gratitude to our friends at The Fashion Model Directory for their ‘largest model database on Earth.

A Quick B&W Thing

Oh what the hell! I feel really down insofar as it’s been awhile since I’ve posted here; although I realize not all is lost cuz I do this soley for fun, keep a hand on the industry, and usually have an awesome time putting it together.

I thought a good warm up for today would be an artsy sort of black and white number; and I finally figured out why I like doing b&w…; for me there is a certain mystique when a gorgeous lady or man is highlighted in black and white.

In most instances the use of lighting is critical; especially when accenting one’s physique or delectable curves and mounds. Not to be misunderstood here but I also believe that there are some ‘limits’ with b&w that can only be captured by color.

Any way and in no particular order let’s have a look at some recent b&w collections, shall we?

Straight away with Jessica up top to the left; I love the lace and how she is wearing her top. Seriously, she could throw on some nice, tight jeans and be ready to go.

Have you ever thought of how a lady gets all dolled-up and dressed? It’s a production for some. But it’s also primping time for others. I mean ladies love to take their time picking out what to wear and on and on and on it goes…but there is nothing like the feeling like Jessica up top: meaning of course she’s the only one who knows she’s wearing those lacy sheer knickers.

Don’t you just love the new lingerie trends? Some of the new stuff reminds me of my Mum; if there was ever a lady who was into what she wore, it’s my Mum.

Here’s one little tid-bit story I love sharing with friends:

I have a couple of girlfriends who, given the circumstances and of course the guy, actually go out lingerie shopping for that particular occassion! I really hadn’t given it that much thought, mind you, we all have our own practices. As for me I’m a lingerie-aholic. 

But they come to me exclaiming, “Have you ever seen the look on a man’s face when you tell him that you’ve purchase what you’re wearing just for him?” Needless to say they all maintain that if you want the ride of a lifetime, “try it out!”

Yet these friends of mine use them like keepsakes or something near that level. I ask them, “Do you wash the lingerie after the date?” I swear I have one girlfriend that stays ‘lucky’ in her lucky lingerie. Superstitious or what?!?

Before I go too far I’d better give credit where credit is due: Up and on the right is Olivia…a stunner. Just to the right here is Lisalla and just taking the industry by storm. She’s Brazilian and taking Europe one country at a time.

Continuing clockwise just to the left is Amber who is really a free spirited, fun loving fave of mine; and up on the left is Keirsten doing a campaign deluxe with long velvet gloves.

 

 

How do you like this..?

Okay ladies and gents, we’re now into the year 2009 and I really must apologize for my not posting nearly enough this month. Ah! Heck with it already; this site is supposed to be as the name and by-line suggest: Simpleminds: Kickin’ it, Mind dump, Relax, Chill, and Enjoy the Site is what this site is about.

However and I must admit that 2009 has thus far been far busier than I anticipated. Mind you, there are enough female and male profiles on this site to keep a person busy for months!

First we were able to end the year 2008 with a massive display of bronze bombshells and others from   Brazil. Actually we ran nothing but Brazil in the last 6 to 9 postings. I thoroughly enjoyed the endeavor and we only just barely scratched the surface of those ‘Ladies from Brazil.’

Mss. Stewart

It is alleged (we hold no position whatsoever) that the pictured actress (Kris Stewart) made fashion headlines, albeit, good or bad by wearing this dress to one of the many openings of the film “Twilight.”

We ask for you opinion in the following ways:

1) Is there anything wrong with the selection?

2) How is the cut and ‘flow’ on Ms. Stewart?

3) If anything, do you feel that there is anything wrong with her dress?

4) All things being equal, again this was worn to a movie premier where most attend in jeans.

Fashion Experts…please weigh-in on this short topic for us….we are quite confused.

Just some background, Kristen Stewart, (Panic Room, Land of Women, Messangers, Twilight) is wearing a short, one-shouldered Balenciaga dress in red, white, and grey with a small sash almost of burgundy.

In Los Angeles, California, better yet, Hollweird, where “fashion” falls second to hair, make-up, and other unmentionables ad nauseum we certainly wouldn’t take their words for anything to save our own lives.

In fact, several online tabloids crucified Kris Stewart with having bad fashion taste. What makes this interesting in in the notion of the reader’s who wrote comments; and, as at the time of this writing the score stood at 99% great, awesome to 1% negative. Again, please share with us, how you feel. Thank you.

End of Year Madness!!!

Our goal for 2009 is to just get better at what we do! Heck, if we had it our way we would be pleasing everyone, or all of the people, all of the time; and to this end we will continue with our level best to be better, more enlightening, and contiually bringing you the female form that enchants us all.

Here’s looking at ya’

Very recently in just about every country I can think of we all are asked to celebrate in and with The World’s Lovliest Behinds, or the now famous The World’s Best Butt/Buttocks Award sponsored by Sloggi, a division of the lingerie giant, Triumph International.

Well it seems as though there are several ‘World’s Greatest’ bums out there, basically almost by country. Nonetheless, we’re going to give our level best effort to show some of the winners–hey, we’re even thinking about featuring a male!

So from Paris, to Munich, to Rominia, and even a few from here in the good old U.S.A., if you like the human form especially female derrieres…we hope you’ll enjoy this presentation.

You know…for the longest time–I think since birth or somewhere close to it–I have been enamored with the female buttocks. Don’t ask me why because I simply don’t know why. And I might add that most of my girlfriends are the same way…meaning, that they also enjoy the female derrière as well.

It’s not like all of us don’t like men’s behinds, because we do! It’s just a matter of variety, texture, shape I believe that makes women’s butts more enamouring than males’ butts. I don’t mean to be rude or otherwise, but you just don’t get that sense that there is a great deal of variety in men’s assess; do you?

Recently in conversations with some lady friends it was disclosed ad infinitum, that one could tell more about a female person–personally, physically, emotionally,  just about every personality characteristic by just checking out the constructs of her butt.

So what do you folks think? I’m setting up a poll and it would be very cool if you could share on it. By the way, I’ve been meaning to give some “shout outs” to some folks who’ve been writing comments and participating in this venture. Without further ado. . .

Oh! It’s the Brazilian’s!! (more!)

As we mentioned when we first started are expose on models and ladies from around the world, we felt that it was extremely important to not only feature the models but also to feature the environment and cultures from where they came.

 

 Simpleminds believes that people are products of their environments and most people believe that the cultures they come from are unequivocally the best. It is ostensibly impossible to argue with any person about their culture—and equally as important–is why would anyone want too?

 Therefore when we first started our feature it was entitled “Where did they all come from?” based on an Eastern European article we read and subsequently started featuring models from the world over. Then we progressed into featuring the ladies by country; and that brings us to where we are today.

  Experts for years have equated extraordinary beauty with a person’s childhood experiences. In my travels I can attest to the fact that it seems far more apparent when visiting other nations that people just seem happier, healthier, kinder, and so much fuller of happiness to help out.  

Any person whose spent anytime abroad, meaning outside of America, can clearly attest to the fact that once having travelled and lived overseas, it’s when one comes back to America the first thing they-or-certainly I noticed was that people in the USA don’t smile nearly as much as their counterparts around the world. 

 Now I am sure there is a bias here but hey, what’s the big deal? I sure noticed this phenomenon after being outside the country for years. Perhaps the biggest thing I noticed was the general overall differences in children. 

It seems wherever I go, whether it is in a foreign ghetto area, or the top of Diplomat Row, the children have a completely different outlook on things. Now folks–of course I don’t mean just ‘things.’ I mean kids are kids and they are meant to be children.

 Rather than be in an environment of Hollyweird glitz and bling or seeing just about anyone with any athletic talent signing million dollar contracts for most of the children I’ve met abroad have little or no concern of these things what-so-ever!

 

Therefore, I’ve often wondered, of course based on what experts allege and my own personal experience is this hypothetical: When kids are allowed to be kids, playing, laughing, being outdoors and happy do you think that this attitude somehow sustains within that person for life?

 

Having lived in Central and South America I sure can say, “YES!” without question, toss in a stick and a rock and you’ve got yourself a baseball game! Moreover, think of what the talent would be like to make the Brazilian National Soccer Team!!

 

 Here’s another little tidbit to contemplate on: Think of Fidel Castro: He attended Harvard University in Boston; when he completed his coursework he was picked up by the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team as a pitcher. During tryouts the final spot came down to Castro and another person. The other person was selected. The rest is…shall we say history!

 Just another small bit of trivia: Realizing the value and influence that Pele had on Brazil as a country, the Brazilian government had Pele declared a “Natural Resource” so he could not be traded or otherwise unless he had approval from the government!
